I haven't really blogged for a long time. But so much has happened that its just not fair to keep ALL my followers in the dark about my exciting life any longer. ;) I think I'm mostly in the mood for picture posting..and a brief explanations.

LA ZOO


We went to the LA Zoo the other week with Shenley and her two babies. Keira and Joshua were totally crushing that day.. the pictures are the proof.
























My Child eats in a closet... not as bad as it sounds. We dont have kitchen table and lincoln steals her food which makes her mad therefor she eats in the closet. :)

Room Service Please?

So California is good! the weather is beautiful.. our summer started out with lots of swimming, BBQing, walks, and play dates! But because Barry's job requires him to be all over and stay in hotels a lot has changed. I have a really hard time being away from Barry even when hes at work let alone away in hotels. So we decided why don't we just go where ever you go!!! ha yup we are living out of hotels hotels and more hotels.. yuck. but ill do it to see my babe every night! ;) We still have our clean comfy apartment in Calabasas, that I feel like i never see. We have been up in san diego for a few weeks. Then we drove to Utah for the weekend to see my family over labor day weekend! It was really fun cuz we didnt tell them we were coming. (It was kinda last minute) So we arrived at 3:00 am in the morning. Even though barry drove the whole way i stayed up and enjoyed the time with him. So we were both so so so tired. BUT the babies not so! We sneaked in my parents to the basement to get some sleep. Barry still had work to do the next day so HAD to get some sleep. So i stayed up watching the babies play as if it was the middle of the day or something. Then I heard my mom getting ready for work so i had keira walk up to her room. She peaked out at us and couldn't believe her eyes! (got it on video) so that was exciting! Now we are in Anaheim for 3 weeks.. back in a hotel! At least his work put us up in nice ones. Barry just sent me a schedule of our life for the next few months. looks like we will be back home for awhile!!!!

For 3 weeks I'm at "GOLF" in a hotel.
After that I am at "Agile 1" for 3 weeks. They are located a little past LA so probably like 45 miles from our apartment. We will be staying in calabasas :)
Then, I am at Ixia for 3 weeks. Ixia is in Calabasas!!! :) :) :)
Then, "Massimo" for 3 weeks, which is in Irvine. We will be staying in a hotel.
And Finally, DTS which is on Las Virgenes right next to our apartment!!!! :) :) :) I'm there 2 weeks.
That puts us through the middle of december. I dont know where I am after that.

FAMILY UPDATE

We have finally found a place to live! We love it too.. There couldnt have been a better place that we could have picked. Our ward is amazing! I'm already feeling like ive been apart of the ward for a long time. The moms in the ward have been so welcoming and always have things going on. Its pretty awesome cuz we all live in the same apartment complex. so every tuesday we take the kiddos to the park on thursdays we all meet at the main pool and every morning i go running with Whitney (one of the moms in the ward). Being involved had really helped me adjust to this new life away from utah. Im actually starting to love it here.. weird for me to even say that. Barry is loving his job. life really is good.. oh so good. :) Lincoln sits all by himself and sucks his toes. Keira loves her Disney movies and playing pretend.

FOURTH OF JULY

So as for the fourth of July... im not going to sugar coat it, it kinda wasnt my favorite. ;) thank goodness we had barrys sister to hang out with. But it really made me miss my family. The fourth of july has always been my favorite holiday. I now know why too.. This holiday is all about bbq, family, and fun. This holiday holds my most happiest memories. I love that this day is such a simple yet one of the most EXCITING holidays. Other than the actually meaning of Christmas, easter, & birthdays they just aren't my favorite. They all hold expectations of gifts that the actual meaning of the holiday is lost. and sometime even ruined.. I love holidays where the gift is time, time to spend with each other. I don't have very high expectations of the fourth of july perhaps thats why I love it. Well enough of my jabbering heres a couple pictures.

NEW HAIR

I have finally got rid of the ugly copper!!! thanks to a good friend Loni. Every time she has done my hair i have sincerely loved it. feels good to have confidences in a hair dresser. I finally have found someone that will do my hair forever!

Paradise Cove

first off Barry has graduated!! We are now living in BEAUTIFUL southern California. We are staying with family right now still looking for a good place to stay. Barry got a job with an accounting firm in LA doing business advisory. We are super excited with this new chapter in our lives. I already LOVE LOVE LOVE living here. The babies are doing awesome. Lincoln is almost 6 months and Keira will be having her 2nd birthday on June 2nd. Okay so there's the update. Now time to talk about our wonderful morning in Paradise Cove. It's a private little beach with a nice restaurant where we had breakfast. Then we took a nice long walk down the beach... what a way to start your day huh??

Miss Independent

Keira has been growing up like crazy. She wants to do everything herself. feed herself, wash her own hair, throw away her own diapers, (by the way she will throw a fit if i try to do it for her.) and she also LOVES to brush her own teeth. Of course I brush them for her after to make sure they are nice and clean. She is also finally starting to say more words. I was starting to feel like a bad parent. But it amazes me how fast she picks up things. I cant believe how much she is observing things around her. The other week she was at my parents and they bought her a barbie to play with when she is over there. The first thing she did was get the barbies baby and then had mommy barbie breast feed the baby barbie... REALLY? I don't give her enough credit to how much she really understands. I just LOVE LOVE LOVE that little girl. but man She is SUCH a handful lately. The whole new baby thing isn't working out for her to well anymore. She hates that mommy's (yes she finally calls me mommy now!) attention always is taken up with the new baby. She loves talking to baby and kissing baby as long as im not holding him. once i pick him up she is NOT happy. poor keira.. really breaks my heart to see her so heart broken with this new change in her life. makes me think of all the changes she will go through.. and i will be right there going through them with her. ugh... already stresses me out.
