Baby #2 is here!

Okay so Lincoln has arrived! he was born dec 7th at 8:00 6 lbs 7 oz. He is such a precious little thing. I feel sooooo unbelievably blessed in my life. I can't help but feel like the Lord has directed and blessed my life so much since marrying my most amazing husband. Sometimes i feel like i don't really deserve to have such a blessed life. I'm so grateful to my Heavenly Father and the obvious love he has for me. life just keeps getting better and better. I had no idea what a void i had in my life until i Married Barry. He filled me so much... Then along came my little Keira. I didn't think life could get better than what it was, and now Lincoln!!! wow. My heart is so full with love for life and my family. I'm not going to say that everyday is just a bliss though.. having 2 babies with 2 very different needs. Both of which are still in diapers is HARD!!! man.. even with the full help of my husband with him being on Christmas break i still feel so overwhelmed at times. I change diapers all day! ha and if im not doing that I'm stuck on the couch nursing. AND if im not doing that I'm constantly picking up after keira! oh man im tired. But i LOVE my babies. This is more than worth it. okay im done writing about my feelings. Here are picture updates!

its time...

so its about 10:00pm and its all starting to sink in. Baby Lincoln will be here tomorrow morning.. today was Keiras last day of being the only child. Im nervous, excited, scared, i have no idea how i feel. I just know I cant believe how fast time has been going. I feel like its always against you and NEVER for you. All i have been trying to do is slow down time with keira and this pregnancy to soak it all in.. i feel like I'm skidding my heels against time but there's just no slowing it down or pausing it. Especially when life is at its best. I feel like I'm trying to take every moment in, but Its all going by to fast. Well I'm excited to meet my little boy tomorrow... :)

Keiras sleepover w/ cousins

My sister just had her baby!! so we got to take Michael and Juliana for a few days! We had a great time.. especially Keira! She LOVES them so much.

Just after bath time watching a movie.

Harry Potter Marathon

So before we had keira we would always have movie marathons! We would pull our mattress out from our room and just lay there and watch movies! sometimes this would be a all day event to where we didnt even leave the apartment. I know not healthy. haha but we love having our movie marathons.. we could stay up till 4 in the morning watching heros, lost, and prison break. But that all changed once Keira arrived. quite dramatically too! Anyways... long story short we decided to have another movie Marathon. Even though we have had to spread it out to one movie a night. We started all the Harry potter Movies. For two reasons that is! first reason Halloween was just a week away and second we plan on going to the opening night for my birthday!!!

Some of our favorites.. apple cider, homemade popcorn, take 5s, and redvines!!

yes we did pull our bed in the middle of the living room!

pictures...

Love this photo of Keira. <3

She doesn't make it easy to take photos of her!

Me and Keira

toddler bed

We got Keira a toddler bed. Now that her crib will be taken over my her little brother in about 5 weeks. She loves having the freedom to get out of bed and play with her toys. The first while I would wake up at least 3 times during the night with her knocking on her door with a bunch of toys under her arms. As soon as i would open the door she would take off running down the hall to the living room with as many toys under her arm she could fit. At first i thought it was so cute i would let her play with her toys for a couple minutes. But then this routine of playing with toys at 3:00 am just wasn't working for me. So now she has to be tucked back in without playing with her toys. I only have 5 weeks to break her from this... yikes! haha wish us luck.

I put her in her bed for a nap. I could hear her playing with her toys shortly after. When i went to check on her i found her half way up on her bed. She must have been to tired to make it all the way... made me giggle.

Her cute little legs dangling from the bed.. :)

Football Sunday

What a great day it was! We had regional stake conference today. I really enjoyed the talks by Packer and Holland. We met up with Joe and Karoline and watched it live at the Marriot Center.. man was it PACKED!! Even the halls were crazy with people sitting all over the floor, because there wasn't a single seat left. Lucky for us Joe and Karoline got there early and saved us a seat. Me and Barry are really good at being late for everything. After that got over we all came over to our place and had a pot luck. We watched football and ate all day.. No joke we all felt soooo sick by the time it was all over. But you really cant blame us because the food was amazing. Karoline made this delicious buffalo dip (I could not stop eating). We had Pad Thai, chips with different dips. We even made our famous nutty muddy buddies (as Joe would call them.) AND i made that pumpkin roll I've been talking about! it was ohhhhh so good!

Keira our little handy man.

A while ago we bought some stools from IKEA that we had to put together. Keira wanted in on the action... :)

wonderful summer with friends.

Over this past summer we have had a lot of fun with two of our best friends Joe and Karoline. Anything we do we always invite them, Because its ALWAYS more fun when they are around. We just love them! They are the kinda of people that you always feel comfortable around. You could never spend to much time with them. Like i said this past summer we have had a lot of fun with them. We Barbecued , hiked, did Yoga... once haha watched movies, We also loved going out to eat with them. It's been a wonderful summer with them! one of our favorites was tin foil dinners at the park. One Sunday night we decided to do some tin foil dinners. We made due with what we had and came up with one yummy dinner!

(Sorry this was the only pic.. it was getting dark.)

Last night we all got together for the BYU game. Except this time Matt and Adrianna came with us as well. They are also good friends of ours, but because Matt has been out of town working all summer we haven't got to see much of them. I'm really glad Matt is back because they both are a lot of fun. And way cute together! :) After watching the game for a while we all headed to Sundance for lunch. We went to the grill. One of our favs! after a great lunch we took a walk around. It was the most perfect weather and absolutely beautiful up there. Once we got back from lunch we headed to the Driving Range. It was one of the best days I've had! I love having such wonderful friends. :)

anniversary date

This morning barry asked me to get him a glass of water.. when i walked into the kitchen i found this. :) and the most sweetest letter.

So like i said in my last post its our 2 year anniversary today! but seems that today is Sunday we celebrated yesterday, by going to our favorite places. We had been planning for this day for quite sometime now. Barry and I love going up to Park City and will find any excuse to go up. anyways we had made plans to go up and spend the night in a nice hotel, but a week before and right before making reservations our car started leaking green fluid really bad... anyways long story short took it in cost $300 and still wasn't fixed. So there went the hotel.. and our ride up to park city. but the amazing mother i have told us to take her car while she would just watch keira at our place. So off we went up to park city yesterday morning! The drive was the best.. i love driving up through that canyon. its such a beautiful drive. We talked and laughed the whole way up... bringing up all the funny stories of dating. Once we got there We got out of the car to go up to our favorite restaurant. when i got out of the car i left the door open to grab my purse after i put on my jacket. When i turned around the wind and shut the door locking the purse and keys in the car. There went our dinner money to the locksmith.. fifty dollars!!! lol... well not lol at the time in fact i cried for about an hour. But Barry was so sweet he kept telling me accidents happen and its okay, and its not a big deal. He told me not to let it ruin my day. And that we were going to pretend like it never happened! So we got on the bus up to Flanagan's Irish Pub & Restaurant. Our favorite place of all time! The food is amazing and the atmosphere is even better They also have live music. Which is really up beat Irish music. After dinner we went to the outlets for some SHOPPING!!! i love love love park city outlets! We got lots of clothes for Lincoln and Keira. We even found matching swimming suits for next summer! After shopping we drove down to Provo to go see Inception to find out it was all sold out!! i kinda cried a little bit. ha okay i was emotional.. give me a break I'm pregnant. ;) Barry is so sweet though he was so understanding and loving towards my crazy hormones. haha over all it was a great day!

Here are some photos..

I love you barry...

Its our anniversary today! we have officially been married for 2 years now. They have been the 2 most meaningful years of my life. I couldn't picture my life anymore fulfilling and blessed then this. I can't believe how much my heavenly father loves me to have blessed me with such an AMAZING husband. When i was younger i would picture what kind of person i would marry.. and i thought i had high expectations. Barry has blew every expectation out of the water! Barry is the most non judge-mental, selfless, forgiving person. Barry always helps me to see the big picture of things. I love to be married to someone who has such a beautiful prospective on life. He makes life seem so wonderful no matter the situation. Barry has helped me see life totally different and more positive. I treasure every memory i make with him, and every minute spent with him. I had no idea i would have married such a perfect husband who loves me so much and who i love more than anything in this world. Our marriage gets stronger and stronger everyday with every new experience we go through together. I'm so happy to have such a strong loving partner to experience this life and all eternity with. He is my best friend.. the one person that knows me best. I LOVE YOU BARRY BOO BOO!!! :)

I guess its called "bieber fever...?"

okay so before i post pictures and tell you the whole story you need to know this was all for my little sister... kinda. Anyways my little sister has this sick obsession with Justin Bieber. When she found out he was coming to Utah she wanted to go to his concert soooo bad. but the poor girl is only 15 and jobless. A week before his concert 97.1 was doing the whole "be the 9th caller and win tickets." So every single day we listen and called in when his song would come on. We did this for 4 days in a row. Then on the 5th day we called in and someone answered my call and said "Good Morning! You are the..... 6th caller." NOOOO WAY!!! turns out we were 3 calls shy of those tickets.. But Shinade (my sister) wasn't going to give up there. There was one last chance to win tickets, and it was to make a display of justin bieber and 97.1.. She begged me to come up with ideas. but all i could think of was to make a poster. The thing was i knew EVERYONE would make a poster and so we had to make ours stand out some how. So i came up with this idea....
AND WE WON!!!!!!!!!!

Keiras birthday party!

Keira just turned one yesterday 6/2/10. We had her birthday party on Monday since all my family was here. And when we were in California last week Barrys family had a b-day party for her too. Barrys sister Amy made and decorated a really yummy cake for keira. It had a candle for her to blow out... To bad none of us even thought that she might not know how to blow it out. ha instead she grabbed the flame and put it out with her bare hand! it took her a second to realize that it burned her.. it was kinda sad, but we'll never forget keiras first time putting out a birthday candle. Then when we got home we had another birthday party for her with my family.between the two birthday partys She was spoiled with gifts.

It was heavenly...

Time to Kick my butt into shape!

Okay so its no secret i got fat when i was pregnant with Keira... yup gained over 80 lbs. I stopped keeping track after that. So to be honest i have no idea what i weighed at birth. But i do know my Fat butt didn't even fit into the maternity clothes i had bought at 6 months pregnant. I couldn't quite start working out right away with my C-Section but as soon as i was able i started. It had been so long that my endurance was pretty weak. I tried to eat healthy, but because i was breastfeeding I always had a huge appetite. With breastfeeding and a little bit of exercise i lost about 40 lbs. But still nowhere close to what i used to be before. I plateaued.... So i decided that i was going to kick my butt back to shape. And go and a healthy eating plan. Don't really believe in diet pills or starving myself.. done it and its just not healthy. It also makes me a very grumpy person. anyways i found this website called sparkpeople.com Its the best website ever! This site really helps you keep track of calories and eat the right amount of carbs, fats, and proteins. I have learned so much already. I even have Barry doing it with me... kinda ;) I've been using it for 3 months and with some hard core work-outs I've lost 30 lbs. Yeah its not a pound a day or anything. With how hard I'm trying i really would love to see better results, but I'm doing it the right way and it takes time. I now work out almost everyday, and at least run 5-10 miles a day. mostly only 5 miles I've only ran 10 twice. I'm still going strong and I'll keep you updated on my progress! :)

Yay for bike rides!!!!!

I Cant even remember the last time i rode a bike. And for some reason when i was pregnant with Keira It was one of the top things i wanted to do, but i was to scared of losing balance and landing on my huge belly. So now that I'm FINALLY no longer pregnant its time to ride baby! ;) Now there were 2 problems...1. dont have a bike. 2. Even if i did have a bike i cant quite give Keira a haul on the back yet. So Barry and I decided to buy a Trailer for Keira to be pulled behind the bikes.. That we bought off of KSL. And so we took Keira on her first bike ride! it was kinda rainy but nothing was going to stop us...

Haven't even left yet and shes already out.

All Bundled up for her first bike ride with mommy and daddy! :)

Kinda Blurry picture but i take what i get.. not very often Barry lets me take pictures of him.
